Great Day in Sumy!

Well, we finally made it to Sumy and were able to deliver the packages that were sent with us. The kids were so happy to get them. Some of them sent letters back with us. Ray decided that we ought to take the bus out there. It wasn't until after we bought the tickets that we found out that it was a 4 1/2 hour ride. The ride back was only 3 1/2 hours. Enough said! For those who are wondering, yes we were able to meet with Zhenia, and it went great. Too much to write here, but it was a happy time for all of us. Margie and Arri, you can stop crying now. Can't wait to go back in May. Special thanks to Jeff and Ann for entertaining our girls so we could make the trip.

Sounds like you had a good, although long day. We had a great thanksgiving, but we missed you guys. It wasn't quite the same without you. Love you and miss you.

Oh Louise, I can't wait to talk with you. I bet Zhenya was in COMPLETE shock that you were really there. Thank you, thank you for the picture of Igor, and we loved the pictures of Zhenya. Does Julie have a blog for us to follow? We are praying for you, you are almost done!!

Louise! Seeing you guys together is so wonderful! And no, I will not stop crying! Zhenya's heart must have come out of his chest when he saw you guys there! This makes it so real for him. I hope he is doing well since we left. I hated to leave him, but knowing that you were coming to get him, made it a little easier. Thanks for the pictures. I'm sad that we didn't get my boys letters out to their friends:-( Can't wait to talk to you about it.

Louise and Ray, the Kiev-Frankfurt-Denver route was our favorite on our return home. Inna will be happy to see a few more children arriving from Poltava! We've enjoyed following your blog, the Morgans
